i’ve been on lexapro 8-9 weeks i’ve felt progress but i always get to this breaking
The recommended starting dosage of Lexapro for generalized anxiety disorder is also 10 mg once daily
Started on 5mg and slowly worked up to 20mg, which I’ve been on for over 18 months now
I can only share my 10 years of experience with taking 20mg of Lexapro
To be fair I don’t actually think Lexapro helped very much with my social anxiety but did help with general anxiety and depression
Lexapro can also potentially cause Yep! Anxiety and severe panic attacks were starting to ruin my life! Lexapro never made my anxiety worse, but it did take about 8 weeks to work
Now I’m always thinking about if I’m focusing or not in conversation/watching tv, everything

Sort by: I’ve been taking lex for 10 months now and I haven had morning anxiety since the first few months
It was only two weeks long of lowering 150 mg of zoloft down to nothing and concurrently taking 5 mg of lexapro and then to 10 mg
If your mind is emptier it's a lot easier to apply lessons learned in therapy :) that's why a combination of meds and therapy is often considered the best treatment method
